Nirmala Sitharaman Address to Trademark & Seminar on 20th at FICCI

New Delhi(N4C Desk)- Minister of State (IC) for Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India Nirmala Sitharaman  will give away the key note address.  Amitabh Kant, Secretary, DIPP, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India,  Naresh Prasad, Assistant Director General and Chief of Staff, Office of the Director General, World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO);  Rajiv Aggarwal, Joint Secretary, DIPP;  Sidharth Birla, Immediate Past President, FICCI and Chairman, Xpro India Ltd. and  Vikas Jain,  Co-Founder, Micromax Informatics Ltd. are also slated to address the inaugural session.

Given India’s booming economy and increasing number of globally recognized brands, the country has the potential to be one of the top users of the Madrid System. To showcase the achievements of the Indian Business and to spread awareness to Indian Businesses of the importance of protection of Trademarks Abroad, FICCI is organizing the Felicitation of 1.25th Million International Trademark & Seminar on Protecting Brands Abroad with the Madrid System in association with World Intellectual Property Organization and Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP).
