IDBI Federal Life Insurance Mumbai Half Marathon Registrations open

Mumbai(Sports Desk)- After a successful inaugural edition, IDBI Federal Life Insurance opened registrations for IDBI Federal Life Insurance Mumbai Half Marathon to be held on Sunday, 20 August 2017. Approved by Athletics Federation of India (AFI), the IDBI Federal Life Insurance Mumbai Half Marathon will flag off opposite Mumbai High Court (Oval Maidan).
Registration for all four categories; 21.1K Half Marathon
(Minimum Age – 18 as on 20th Aug 2017), 10K Timed Run (Minimum Age – 15 as on 20th Aug 2017), and 5K Heritage Run (Minimum Age – 10 as on 20th Aug 2017) is now open. Enthusiastic runners across the country can register online by logging on to www.mumbaihalfmarathon.com
IDBI Federal Life Insurance Mumbai Half Marathon aims to promote distance running, and provides a platform for running talent in India. With this objective in mind, the marathon is open to Indian citizens only. Entry fee for the Half Marathon is Rs. 1350, Timed 10K is Rs 950 and the 5K Heritage Run is Rs 650.
To mark the commencing of registrations, an Inaugural Run/Promo Run took place at the Bandra Fort on April 16th. Various Promo Run’s and Training Run’s will take place in the upcoming months in Mumbai and Pune. The 24-hour Stadium Run will happen at University Stadium on June 11th.

Bharat Ratna awardee, Sachin Tendulkar will not only grace the event with his presence but will be seen motivating the runners on the race day. He will continue to be the face of the event for IDBI Federal Life Insurance Marathons in New Delhi and Kolkata.
