Haryana BJP primary membership figure touched to 32.47 lakh in first phase
Kurukshetra (N4C Desk)- Haryana BJP President Subhash Barala said that BJP President Amit Shah would participate in a function to mark the eventful completion of one year of success of BJP Government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on May 26, 2015.
Mr. Barala, who was addressing the media persons in Senate Hall of Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra said that large scale programmes would be organized across the state to commemorate the occasion. Party leaders including Ministers, MPs and MLAs would address public meetings throughout the state at all levels.
He said that after the successful completion of ‘mega membership drive’, the party would now launch ‘massive contact programme’ throughout the state under which those primary members who have added 100 or more members into the BJP fold in the first phase, would accord the status of active members. He said that primary membership figure of the party touched to 32.47 lakh in the first phase. A training programme would be organized for such active members during the month of August and September. These training programs would be held at divisional, district and state level in a phased manner, he added.
Mr. Barala said that a number of programmes signifying the importance of Yoga would also be organized in every district in the State on June 21 which has been declared as International Yoga Day with the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Apart from this, camps would also be organized on May 30 and 31 to popularize the three new insurance schemes recently launched by Prime Minister. In these camps, party workers would apprise the people about the schemes and helps in filling the forms for these schemes in consultation with banks and insurance companies.
Haryana Incharge of party affairs, Dr. Anil Jain said that one year successful completion of Union government would be observed as ‘Jankalyan Parv’ in the country. On the eve of one year of Union Government, Prime Minister would address a mammoth public meeting at the native village of Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhayaya at Deen Dayal Gram in district Mathura on May 25. Similarly, high level programmes would be organized in all the states on May 26, 27 and 28. Apart from this, exhibitions would also be put up at a number of places focusing the welfare programmes of government from May 26 to 31.
Dr. Jain said that celebration of International Yoga Day on June 21 will achieve a world record as 175 nations likely to organize functions on this day in the world. This, he said, has been approved by UNO in its first meeting as proposed by Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi. Union Minister for External Affairs Mrs. Sushma Swaraj would remain present in USA on this day.
