CBSE CTET Test was postponed Due to Haryana jat andolan
New Delhi(N4C Desk)- The 9th edition of Central Teacher Eligibility Test conducted by CBSE was held today dated 21.02.2016 in two sessions Paper II (Morning) and Paper I (Evening) at 973 centres in India and abroad. For this examination 7,47,477 candidates were registered. The examination was conducted in time and no untoward incident has come to the notice of the Board.
Due to administrative reasons, in the state of Haryana in the cities Ambala, Faridabad, Gurgaon, Karnal, Kurukshetra and Panchkula Central Teachers Eligibility Test was postponed, where 71471 candidates were registered for CTET. Total 1596 independent Observers were deployed by the Board at the examination centres apart from Board’s officials at each centre all over the country to ensure smooth and transparent conduct of examination. The question papers were reported by students to be set as per the syllabus prescribed and was well balanced. The Chairman CBSE Y.S.K. Seshu Kumar visited a number of centres at Delhi and NCR to monitor the smooth conduct of examination.
The Chairman has also expressed his gratitude towards Delhi Police, Railways, Airport Authorities, State Administrative Authorities, all heads and staff of examination centres for extending all help and support in smooth conduction of CTET February, 2016.
